I rarely edit my photographs in black and white but this one is an exception. For some reason this young boys troubled expression looks so much better in grayscale. Maybe it is the fact that he is surrounded by the Hammarkullen Carnival with all its joy, colour and noise – but still looks kind of sad and lost. It is a nice contrast of the kind that I love to capture.
